Dr Jack McElligott - Osteopath
B.H.Sci,B.App.Sci.(Osteo)

Jack graduated from RMIT in 2016 with a Bachelor of Health Science/ Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). Before opening The Osteo Zone at Ball360 in 2023 Jack has worked in both private practice and corporate healthcare.

Jack has a strong passion for Osteopathy founded through sporting injuries of his own which lead to an early desire to better understand the human body, its anatomy and its recovery from injury.

The principles of Osteopathy which emphasise the relationship between structure and function fascinate Jack. Jack believes the body functions as a whole and not as individual isolated components and he will therefore assess the whole body in order to find the root of the problem and enable the body’s ability  to self-regulate and self-heal.

Jack has completed further training and education in the science behind pain and management of chronic pain, dry needling, electrotherapy, cupping, taping and workplace/ ergonomic assessment and advice. Whether your pain is acute or chronic Jack believes that patients should leave the clinic with a better understanding of what they are experiencing and why.

Holistic treatments include manual therapy, strengthening, exercise rehab, stretching and education. We will also give advice on adjustments to your day to day life to help you along the journey of living pain free and succeeding at whatever it is you love to do.

Outside of work Jack enjoys sport, spending time with friends and family and travelling.
